This client came to me in search of a whimsical coffee table. When I presented two potential ideas, she opted to combine them for a result half way between the two original designs.

The end result has great play between the rigid horizontal and vertical aspects. As one walks around the table, it seems to move as well, creating a unique and lively effect.

The curve on the top of the table enables one to easily see and reach the contents of the lower shelf, for a practical and playful shape.
